ISP (Improved Solutions Portugal), INOXPA’s branch in Portugal implemented a number of different solutions into their new installations. The aim is to manage and make the most of natural resources to both reduce the environmental impact and increase efficiency and sustainability in their production processes.
The energy project was designed based on the installations’ privileged location in Vale de Cambra, Portugal, open and well-lit spaces allow to make the most of the natural light coming in.
Solar panels with a production capacity of over 125 kW were installed. These will provide the energy needed to meet air conditioning and heating demands, while also providing a significant financial saving.
The project also includes a range of charging points for electric vehicles that will also help reduce fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions.
When it comes to water consumption, recovery loops have been created to make the most of water resources and to reuse treated water (WWTP) for watering gardens.
This set of actions sees ISP positioned as a company committed to the environment and the fight against climate change, in accordance with the UN’s SDGs promoted via the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
