Installation characteristics Installation characteristics

INOXPA designed a fully automatic, custom-made solution comprised of two bioreactors for producing microorganisms and an integrated CIP-SIP system for performing cleaning cycles between processes.

The supplied installation was comprised of:

  • 2 x 5000 L bioreactors, which include an insulated tank with heating chamber, prepared to operate at 1.1 bar and a jacket at 5 bar with the corresponding certification in accordance with the pressure equipment directive, agitators for gas dispersion with a single mechanical seal, a peristaltic pump to inject an anti-foaming agent, a radar system for level measurement, O2 injection, and O2, temperature and pH sensors.
  •  The services skid that includes a CIP cleaning system with a detergent dosing pump, an SIP sterilisation system using superheated water, a heating system, a cooling system, and a control panel.

  • Self-operating equipment. Only electrical connection is required.
  • Equipment can be sterilised using superheated water, without using steam.
  • Equipment prepared to work under pressure, including the relevant certification.
